A polymyalgia rheumatica diet is a healthy diet combined with exercise and stress-free activities while cutting smoking habits, if any. This diet can include foods with healthy fats, which are essential in reducing symptoms of polymyalgia rheumatica. Some examples of healthy dietary fats are monounsaturated fat and Omega-3 fats. Foods that have high monounsaturated fats content olive oil, canola oil, and sunflower oil as well as avocados, nuts, and seeds.
